The rustically elegant home of Dave Malmquist, Casa Tierra (Earth House), recalls haciendas of Old Mexico. The all-adobe home features over fifty arches and includes entryways with vaulted brick ceilings and beautiful interior arches and courtyards with fountains. Each of the sun-baked adobe bricks was left exposed so the natural color and texture can be appreciated. Hand-made ceramic lights are found throughout the Inn. The viga and latilla ceilings, brick floors and brightly patterned Talavera tile throughout the home further enhance the feel of Mexico.
